Almost a year has passed again since the last update. That time has been mostly growing up for Uni.
But in April 18th we travelled to Saint Peterburg Grand Prix Show. The trip was well worth taking. Néo was BOB there and got his last CACIB that completed his C.I.B title. He also got CAC that made him Russian Champion. Uni was BOS and she got her first CACIB.

It's been disgracefully long, practically a whole year, since I've last been updating these pages. And so much has happend. Now I just sit down and try to remember the most important of everything that's been going on and it write down here.
In Memoriam
The most important and the sadest of all that has happened is that my golden darling Kassu left us on February. He's still and will continue being sorely missed here at home.
In Agility
Cindy (P. Butterfly Knife) made a rocket like rise to highest class in agility guided by her coach and owner Pia. Now they are pushing for the tittle of FI ACH. Go Cindy and Pia! Pia, you have golden touch!
Helmi (P. Show Stopper) also started her official agility career. Helmi's rise up hasn't been quite as upright as Cindy's but they're doing good work too.
In Obedience
Onni's (P. One Man Show) pace in obedience has also been quite fast. About one leg per year. By 2008 Open class was done and now he's competing in Winners' Class together with his good friend Reetu (Fontane Millenium Falcon). This year both boys were in Finnish Bearded Collie Club's team competing for Finnish Championships in obedience. Go, boys!
In temperament
Two of Néo's offspring has now been tested. First was
Ossi (P. Garden Of Eden), who was tested by Pasi Halme ja Pekka Orava. The result was real treat. All the subparts were tested positive and he's not gunshy a least bit. An ideal result for Beardie.
In Beauty
The boys are back in speed again. At first our multitasker Onni travelled to Tallin, Estonia in May. There he took the BOB and got himself the titles of EE CH and EEW-09. His half brother Speedy (P. Gimme The Prize) was also there and made it to 3rd best male. During the summer Speedy has travelled quite a lot and picked CACIBs and res-CACIBs and placements here and there.
Nikolaij (P. I Want It All) who during the winter took a break from shows to catch his breath travelled in JUne to Veijen in Denmark. The only "jewel" that was missing from emperors crown was the tittle of NORD CH. And that was taken care of in Denmark. Now he's also DK and NORD CH. Now his latest achievement was BOB at Mikkeli Int. show.
Neo (Ael De Shaleemar) and my baby girl Uni (Demoiselle De Chester) were also along in Veijen Denmark. The trip was not much a triumph for Néo ;) but instead I was completely head over heels when still quite babyish Uni won the junior bitches with excellent on both days.

Yesterday friends came to visit us and specially Uni. We had a very nice day and as a result of that we got a bunch of lovely photos taken by Jukka with his fine new camera.
Today nice news arrived from Ylivieska. Speedy (P. Gimme The Prize) had been BOB there and received his first CACIB. Big congrats to Speedy!

21.6.2008 Summer solstice
Happy birthday to my darling Kassu who celebrates his 12th birthday today! My Golden Oldie!
It's been a while since the last update of these pages and so much has happend after it.
In home troops Néo (Ael De Shaleemar) started the summer season by being the BOS in Rauma but tightened the grip in Harjavalta and took there the BOB with Group-3 placement.
Staili (P. Stiletto Heel) continued her show career with moderation. In Rauma and Harjavalta she won youth class with excellent.
Maisa (Blossom Bears Perky Apple Pie) won open class bitches in Rauma with res-CC.
Among offspring Nikolaij (P. I Want It All) started determind climb up in the All Breeds Show Dog Competition. After May his placement is 13th. At the moment he has one BIS-4, two Group-1 and one Group-4 placements out of which the last Group-1 is yet missing from the competition points. In May he also took a trip to Sweden where he added the title of S CH to his list of champion titles.
Onni (P. One Man Show) continued his versatility career at the same time picking placements in the Best Male Class in conformation and in obedience achieving his first leg of three in open class. Mia and Onni seem to think that fuel prices being what they are doesn't entitle to drive around for fun but when you go you also should come home with succes.
Siblings Moona (P. Bohemian Rapsody) and Speedy (P. Gimme The Prize) achieved their FIN CH titles in June. Both with res-CACIB and within one week. Big congratulations for both of them!
The greatest event in our life at the moment though, is the arrival of our little lady from France. Her name is Demoiselle De Chester and we picked her up from kennel De Chester. Now, after getting to know each other for a week, I see we defenately got ourselves no "damsell in destress" but a willful, fierce and chic little lady who is not afraid to use all her feminine ways to assure her place in our mainly masculine group ;)

15.3.2008 Tampere
Litter mates Nikolaij (P. I Want It All) and Voitto (P. We Will Rock You) and their half brother Onni (P. One Man Show) were presented. Nikolaij and Onni were shown in champion class and they both got placed with exc. Onni was 3rd and Nikolaij won. Nikolaij also won the best of breed and at the end of the day he was Group-2! Big, big hugs for Nikolaij and Onni!
The main goal for Voitto was not to win but to overcome the ring excitement that was disturbing their performance. Unyielding training had paid off. The handler pulled herself together great and their cooperation was flawless! I'm proud of you, guys!

Speedy (P. Gimme The Prize) got placed 2nd Best Male in Ylihärmä. He also received res-CC. Congrats Speedy!

Early bird catches the worm, pondered Nikolaij (P. I Want It All) and decided to start the season at the first possible show. And so it was that the worm was caught. Only this time the worm was a beautiful white rosette that goes by the name of CACIB. That rosette was the fulfillment of the amount and time and the last one needed to make him INT CH! Great big cheer for Nikolaij for fine, fine achievement!

4 years ago, on New Years night my proud hidalgo was born. Now he's dog at his prime, the apple of my eye and my beaming pride and joy. A toast for New Year and for Néo!

The triplet of siblings, Onni (P. One Man Show), Charm (P. Showing Off) and Helmi (P. Show Stopper) had determined to show that even if they already have all sorts of merits to proof their quality also the foundation on which those merits are built is solid. They took part to a character test. The test measured many aspects of their character like capability to act under pressure, will to defend themselves as well as their humans, willingness to let human approach and establish contact, hardiness, willingness to use their body in play, and reactions to loud noises and gun shots. They all passed the test with flying colours! They were proven to have typical good character of a shepherd dog and Bearded Collie and they were all qualified not to be afraid of gun shots. That made me so happy! You are such a great kids!

Onni (P. One Man Show) has also decided to live up to his name and put up a real one man show to brighten the gloomy autumn. Where action takes place, there's Onni picking points and results. From Kyröskoski he took the 3rd and last leg for his novice class obedience title TK1. And he made it with top points and by winning the whole class! Super! With such a speed what else might he have in his pocket for this autumn?

Onni (P. One Man Show) ja Cindy (P. Butterfly Knife) took part to herding event in Piikkiö. Results of the event were most pleasing. After only a short moment of hesitation from somewhere behind the genereations echoed the ancient knowledge how those alien creatures, ewes, should be treated. Transformation from urban city dogs to herding dogs had happened!

Onni (P. One Man Show) won the novice class obedience on Saturday in Valkeakoski! Big congratulations for Onni and Mia for good work!

Nikolaij (P. I Want It All) made his deput in champion class. Result was 2nd in champion class and 3rd Best Male. Congrats to Nikolaij for taking his place in "the big boys' club".

We have another new champion! Nikolaij (P. I Want It All) was BOS and took his last CC only one week after his 2nd birthday. Fantastic! The last national CC activated also his two foreing CCs and made his a champion of three countries at the same time. He is now a FIN & EST & RUS CH! He wants it all...

Birthday congrats again! Today both our Paradise litter and Queen litter celebrate their 2nd birthday! Big big hugs for Iitu, Peggy, Nelli, Ossi and Leo from Paradise and a quintet of Freddy's Finest Moona, Trixie, Nikolaij, Voitto and Speedy!
While the younger were eating birthday cake Charm popped to Tervakoski where he got placed 3rd Best Male. Well done, Charm!

Ossi (P. Garden Of Eden) took part in show in Helsinki. He got 3rd in Youth Class with EXC.

On Saturday in Joensuu brothers Onni (P. One Man Show and Dani (P. That's Show Biz) run in a single row to 2nd and 3rd Best Males. In bitches their half sister Peggy (P. Fields Of Arcadia) was 2nd Best Bitch and took her first CC!

On Sunday boys repeated their act but in bitches another receiver was found for CC. She was Moona (P. Bohemian Rhapsody) who was also day's 3rd Best Bitch.

In Turku Charm (P. Showing Off) got to show what he's got and he made it to 2nd Best Male. In bitches Style (P. Stiletto Heel) won Junior class with EXC.
2007-07-15-22 Kokkola, Muhos and Pello
While others were lazying on summer holidays Speedy (P. Gimme The Prize) was at great speed. First in Kokkola as warm up he took the 3rd Best Male with res-CC. Then a week later he too proved that "nomen est omen" and took BOB with CC both on Saturday in Muhos and Sunday in Pello! Full speed ahead, Speedy!
2007-07-07 Piikkö, Finnish Championships in Obedience
Onni (P. One Man Show) and Reetu (Fontane Millenium Falcon, brother to our Kassu) had been selected to their club team in Finnish Championships in Obedience. Reetu competed in winners class and Onni was nominated for reserve. Reetu and other team members performed fine and their club made it to 10th among 66 partaking clubs. Reserve dog wasn't needed this time but that doesn't make Onni's contribution any lesser.
Next year he will be one of the performers too!

One more conquest for Nikolaij (P. I Want It All)! He went to St Petersburg like he'd own it and there is nothing more to say than: "Veni, vidi, vici!" He took the BOB along with CC and CACIB. Hooray to Nikolaij!

11 years ago on the night of summer solstice a puppy was born. That night was the shortest of the year and spells were woven. On these high lattitudes darkness doesn't fall at all that night but sun just keeps on shining. It's a magical night. That summer solstice boy is our Kassu who now spent his 11th birthday. Perhaps those spells made that night gave him his sunny character and good health. Let's hope they gave him plenty of more years too. Happy birthday, Kassu!

In Kotka Ossi (P. Garden Of Eden) and Uppe (P. Showing All Up) were in the ring. Ossi got graded EXC and won the Youth class! Uppe also got graded EXC in champion class bitches. Simply super!

In Hämeenlinna Onni (P. One Man Show) performed for the first time in Champion class. He got placed 2nd in champs and in the end he was the 3rd Best male. Warm congratulations!
2007-06-10 Nurmes
One of our newcomers Viivi (P. Jade Blade) took part to her second show. She won the Junior class with VG. Fine!
2007-06-09 FBC Specialty, Espoo
We had such a great day in Specialty! The sun also wanted to show off a bit and gave us the most glorious summer day. The place was very good too and the results finally made our day. Néo made it to 3rd Best Male and Maisa became 2nd in Junior class with EXC. Nikolaij (P. I Want It All) won the Youth class males and in Youth class bitches Moona (P. Bohemian Rapsody) was 4th. Cindy (P. Butterfly Knife) in her second show ever got VG in Junior class.

Cindy (P. Butterfly Knife) made her deput in a show ring today. Result was number 1 in junior class with EXC and 3rd Best Bitch. Congratulations to Cindy for a fine star!

Fantastic news from Tallin! Nikolaij (Perky's I Want It All) popped over the bay again to pick himself one more title, the Estonian Winner 07. Along came also CACIB and CC. Summer hot congratulations!

Excellent results continue: yet one more FIN CH. This time it was the
3rd sibling Onni who received his last CC along with 2nd Best Male. He
is now FIN CH NORDJW-05 Perky's One Man Show.
Néo was 3rd Best Male and Helmi was 2nd Best Bitch.

The stone walls of Hamina Bastion hadn't given up for sun but still
oozed icy cold of winter. Getting oneself frozen still payed
off when Charm (Perky's Showing Off) was BOB, got his last CC
and became FIN CH.

Saturday was the day of res-CCs. In Harjavalta Helmi was BOS and her
brother Onni (P. One Man Show) was 2nd Best Male getting res-CC.
In Oulu Speedy was 3rd Best Male also getting res-CC.

Speedy wanted to become "Dog world's next top model". He took part to a
competition seeking for potential canine supermodels, and lo and
behold, he made it to top five! Speedy is on the way to fame and
fortune!

This year's first Perky's champion was made In Tampere Int. Enormous

Estonia last summer got activated and made her the champion of two
